POSITION INVOLVES BIKING / KNOWING HOW TO RIDE A BIKE

AVAILABILITY TO WORK WEEKENDS

Pay: $ 16.00 - $16.50

Hours/Shifts:      

7AM - 3PM

3PM - 11PM

11PM - 7AM

Responsibilities: 

• Monitor and authorize entrance and departure of employees, visitors, and other persons to guard against theft and maintain security/safety of premises.
• Effectively interact with a variety of persons including clients, visitors, public safety officials, employees, and the general public
• Presents oneself in a professional manner through appearance and conduct.
• Circulate among visitors, patrons, and employees to preserve order and protect property.
• Guard, patrol, and monitor industrial or commercial premises to prevent safety hazards, theft, violence, or infractions of rules.
• Monitor for irregular or suspicious activity.
• Comply and enforce all company & client's rules, regulations, policies, and procedures, and respond to emergency situations requiring security assistance.
• Escort on foot or by motor vehicle to transport individuals to specified locations or to provide personal protection or to escort persons off customer property.
• Investigate and prepare reports on incidents.
• Completes daily and special reports by recording observations and information.
• Being alert to observe, correct, and report safety and security hazards.
• Responding to alarm signals (fire, medical emergency, inclement weather, safety/security threats, etc.)
• Promoting safety to prevent accidents.
• Comply with all specific post instructions.
• All other duties that are required and/or assigned manager.

Qualifications: 

• Veterans & Law Enforcement are encouraged to apply
• Military experience preferred
• 21 yrs. old or older
• Must be in possession of a valid S.O.R.A license or NY Security license (Depending on location of position)
• At least 2 years' experience in security
• CPR and First aid/AED Certify (Company will pay for training)
• Well Groomed
